Wood handles have metal ferrules attached to one end to help avoid the wood from splitting. An end bore can be drilled to one end to allow a fitting to be attached. There can be hang-up holes drilled near the other end so the final product can be displayed and stored easily. Wooden handles can be custom-made to order.
