How are wood dowels made?

The video below from our YouTube channel is a quick clip taken during the wood dowel-making process.

Blocks of wood are fed into a molder. Inside the molder are knives that form/mold the blocks of wood into dowels.

Wood dowels serve a variety of functions and are available in a variety of sizes. At H. Arnold Wood Turning, we are able to create custom diameters and lengths based on your needs.
