H. Arnold Wood Turning wood dowels range in diameter from as thin as 1/10" to larger diameters such as 2" or 3". Larger diameters would be classified as poles and made on our lathes.

Wood dowels are offered in a variety of woods including many domestic species and imported varieties. Some of the wooden dowels offered include cedar, birch, ramin, and ash.

We are able to paint or stain our wood dowels and we can perform secondary work to prepare the dowel for its final assembly into your product. We also offer imprinting and branding options.

WOOD DOWEL PINS are generally in stock in 2 basic styles, spiral and multi-groove. We carry conventional size pins starting at 1/4" dia. and metric sizes starting at 5mm dia. PRE-GLUED wood dowel pins are also available for those who want to eliminate problems associated with the use of glue guns.
